This bi-polar, PWM drive efficiently delivers maximum torque over speeds up to 400 steps per revolution in half-and full-step increments. Plus, it's highly compatible with controllers limited in pulse rate frequency.
Selectable output current levels up to 2.5 amps provide ease of drive-to-motor matching. What's more, the SD200 requires only a single 12 to 40 Vdc input power supply, and a simple pulse input for precision stepping and direction control.
Compact in size, this modular drive is built with a rugged, all-aluminum enclosure that provides an excellent heat sink, and requires no external heat sink when operated at less than 2.5 amps (case ambient temperature less than 185°F [85°C] during operation).
